Our AC was out, and replacing a heat pump would be very expensive. Tightening & replacing worn couplings, along with a charge of freon, is buying time from our older unit.

We found upon arrival unit was not operating. After further inspection we concluded the circuit board was bad. The unit was also low on freon. After adding freon and jumping around the circuit board the condensing unit started to cool the house.
Arrived at job site to find condensing unit compressor not operating due to a burnt wire and a bad capacitor. We replaced the wire and capacitor only to find the unit was severely low on freon. After making the replacements and adding a hard start kit, and adding freon the unit was again cooling the house.
Installed 13 SEER heat pump condensing unit with matching indoor air handler with a 10kw electric heat package.
